We hired Chris to build a wall (make another bedroom). He did a great job! He installed a door, trim, some electrical, anything we asked for! He also made some very helpful suggestions! We have had many compliments about the wall, that it looked like it was always there! Chris taped off the area so I didn’t have drywall dust throughout the rest of the house! I would hire him again!

I’m happy to write the first testimonial for Bass Works Construction. I met Chris in 2012 when he worked as part of a 4-man team finishing our basement. He did an excellent job then and I was pleased to be able to contract with his company to replace and repair ceilings in all our upstairs rooms (3 of these had to be replaced completely, this meant installing new dry wall and vapour barriers). We had put off this job for some time for the obvious reason: it would involve major disruption in the household (everything had to be removed from the rooms in order for work to proceed).

The job took two weeks and we are very pleased with the finished work: the workmanship is top notch. But in addition Chris’ professionalism made things much easier: he realistically assessed the needs for materials and labour time; he and his assistant Alex were reliable and careful workers and protected their working space appropriately; they cleaned up after themselves, and were cheerful and cooperative. Indeed, they helped us enormously by moving things out of (and back into) the rooms. I would have no hestitation working with this company again and have no hesitation in recommending Bass Works to my family and friends.
